Programme overview
The Bachelor in Graphic Design equips you with the creative and technical skills needed to transform ideas into compelling visual communication. Throughout the programme, you will explore branding, typography, illustration, digital imaging, advertising design, packaging design, and visual storytelling while building a strong understanding of design principles and creative strategy. Learning is hands-on and project-based, allowing you to develop an industry-ready portfolio using current design tools and technologies. At ALFA University College, you will also strengthen your communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities, preparing you to work confidently in creative agencies, design studios, media companies, and entrepreneurial ventures. This programme provides the foundation for a rewarding career in the ever-evolving world of visual communication and creative design.

Entry requirements
Academic
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two subjects, or its equivalent; or A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; or A Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent; or A Diploma [Level 4, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF)] with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent; or A pass in Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in suitable fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to Senate/Academic Board’s approval (Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme); or A pass in DKM/DLKM/DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least have two years working experience in a related discipline; or Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government. Pass an interview or submission of portfolio determined by the HEP as required.
